Securus Technologies® needed next-gen tablets that could withstand the harsh realities of correctional facilities. Previous devices lacked durability, had weak authentication, and became a tool for illicit activity, enabling contraband communications, unauthorized access to content, and even the coordination of criminal activity. Frequent device loss and shared credentials undermined
accountability and security.
Solution
Securus partnered with NEXA to launch the EVOTAB®, the first Google-certified tablet for incarcerated individuals, and the Officer T80, a Rhino Mobility device built to provide secure, reliable access for correctional staff.
