Challenge

InfoBionic.Ai needed a reliable gateway to transmit data from its MoMe ARC® sensors for continuous remote cardiac monitoring. Their original in-house device
created challenges around certifications, security updates, and resource-heavy
manufacturing. To scale, they turned to an external partner for a
healthcare-grade, FDA and FCC certifiable solution with enterprise-level reliability
without the burden of managing hardware internally.

Complex Compliance and Tracking:

Legacy Windows bedside terminals required frequent and costly hardware refreshes,
increasing TCO and making large-scale deployments inefficient. Many hospitals also needed multiple SKUs per market, complicating procurement and logistics.

High Management Costs:

Outdated bedside systems offered limited integration with modern healthcare applications,
preventing seamless access to EHR, telehealth services, meal ordering, and entertainment.

Slow Response to Demand:

Legacy devices did not meet modern healthcare security standards, creating data privacy risks and
increasing IT overhead due to manual security updates.

Solution

Together with NEXA and T-Mobile®, InfoBionic.Ai developed the MoMe Gateway® which is a fully custom, enterprise-grade handheld device designed for FDA approval.

Custom 6” handhelds designed and ready for mass production in 90 days.

eSIM solution eliminated staging costs for inserting SIM cards.

Devices secured through T-Mobile’s IoT Control Center and Mambo EMM.

Large-scale manufacturing without activating devices until needed.

Guaranteed product availability & security updates for a minimum of 5 years.

Conclusion

With NEXA’s expertise, InfoBionic.AI successfully introduced a new custom-built gateway for remote cardiac monitoring. The MoMe Gateway® is expected to reduce InfoBionic.Ai’s total cost of ownership over five years, streamline operations, and save months of device validation
time.
